BloomWorks Holdings, LLC is the parent to BloomWorks® Natural Soap Company, Southern Soapers® Fragrances, and the brand new Soapalooza!® Soap Arts Studio business division. Kelly opened Southern Soapers, the supply division of BloomWorks Holdings, LLC in Fall of 2006 to support the wholesale side of her soapmaking enterprise. Most recently Kelly finalized the launch of Soapalooza! Soap Arts Studio where local patrons can come to Learn, Explore, & Create in a retail, hands on soap studio environment. She is the owner of the 4000+ member Southern Soapers Yahoo! Group, a forum that welcomes soap makers, chandlers and industry suppliers from around the globe. Kelly has over 20 years of soap making experience and is the author of several copyrighted soap making articles. Kelly recently spoke at the 2009 Annual Conference of the Handmade Soapmakers Guild.

Kelly will speak to attendees of the 11th Annual Alabama Soap & Candle Convention on Trademarking & Branding Architecture for Your Soap Business. The creation of a product brand, marketing it, and subsequently trademarking it works in a synergistic manner to create a business trifecta. This method of branding architecture ensures your greatest ROI of time and money while ensuring the commercial value for your business, and places you on an equal footing with larger industry competitors. Be prepared to break out into the Big Time and have your product lines owned by you, not someone else. Kelly will also cover the importance of creating and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), a topic that has been become important to all of us in the wake of the The FDA Globalization Act, with the likelihood of stricter regulations in the near future.
